Fantail Table

This pedestal table is the most challenging piece I have built in years. The four legs have 16 tapered laminations each, bent and glued around a form. The ball is a wooden sphere, turned on a lathe. The mortises into the ball, which accept the legs, required a tricky jig. Table is 30 inches high, glass shown is 42 inches diameter. Shown in walnut and maple.
